APW - Hamilton, Grade 922 Masterpiece, 23J, 12S, heavy 18K green gold OF original Hamilton case, initials to rear, gold cuvette with signature banners, silvered engraved dial with applied gold numerals, SW-SS, fully capped lever escapement, jeweled barrel arbor, bull's-eye pattern nickel damascene, s#3008303. Gross weight of assembled watch 43.4 dwt (67.6 g). Watch comes with an associated fitted Hamilton box. From the Estate of Michael "Skip" Marrone.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running after a twist to start, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright lustrous surfaces, some short scratches to bridge of smaller winding wheel, some typical fine and micro-fine scratches elsewhere, some small specks of oxide to winding wheels; excellent dial with few small to minuscule scattered spots; excellent hands; case shows very little wear, some fine scratches and profuse micro-fine scratches, scattered shallow denting to rear, numerous pinpoint nicks or dings to rear, some scratches and mild shallow dent to cuvette, excellent engraving detail; bow pivots semi-freely, crown shows very little wear; good glass crystal; box shows some scratches, wear and spots of finish loss, small puncture to finish to upper lid.
